Free Screening of Alumnus Film, “Mother of Buffalo”

Greenhill School is excited to have alumnus and documentary filmmaker Luis Arturo Tapia ’98 on campus to screen his most recent project, Mother of Buffalo, in Rose Hall on Monday, January 8 at 4:15 pm.

This 30-minute documentary is appropriate for all ages, and we will follow it with a Q&A for our director who has returned to the States after 20 years in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Mother of Buffalo is a documentary following one woman’s tireless efforts to protect a dwindling and endangered population of wild water buffalo on Hong Kong’s Lantau Island. This is a story of perseverance, the connection and conflict between humans and nature, and Hong Kong amidst tumultuous change.

This event is open to the entire Greenhill community: faculty, staff, students, alumni, Legends, grandparents, and friends!
