Greenhill Flutist Wins International Competition

Ayne Park ’24 won the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition in flute (advanced category – ages 16-18) and will perform in New York City at Carnegie Hall in July.

The Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition is open to all nationalities and ages in strings, piano, wind, vocal, and chamber music. Participants submit their audition recordings from any of the following periods: baroque, classical, romantic, or contemporary. Ayne’s submission was Mozart's Flute Concerto No. 1 in G major, and she will play Paganini’s Caprice No. 24 at the winners' concert.

Ayne has been playing the flute for 8 years and is a four-year member of the ATSSB 3A All-State Band and the principal flute of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra (GDYO).

Congratulations, Ayne!
